The evening involved the ACCHI banquet and auction. It was an evening filled with information, tears and good times. The time we spent with our Northern “family” gave us the perfect opportunity to build new relationships with great people! I look forward to watching for them this summer while we’re making our tour of the wheat fields.
Yesterday we said our goodbyes to those who had to make their way back home. While we were hanging out at the hotel, Lynn found us and told us she had “a sheet of ice reserved” at 3:00. I’m sure they had a great time watching us Americans attempt to do something they do all the time.
We ended the day with a spectacular Christmas light display at the Saskatoon zoo:
As the day turns into night, I will let you know how this day progressed tomorrow. I’m fairly certain we will miss our connecting flight from Minneapolis to Omaha. This is something that doesn’t surprise me. It seems like any time I fly, something interesting happens.
