It’s time to tell J Town goodbye for another year. Our stay was a quick one; barely long enough to even feel like we were really here. And, as usual, the girls were just getting re-acquainted with their friends again and now it’s time to hit the road. The ‘ole heart strings are being pulled as it’s hard to tell good friends goodbye for another year!!
Jim and I took the first load to Denton today which included the combine and service pickup. Tomorrow, the second load will include the cottage on wheels, Frank and the header and the dually hauling the “Nasty”. The scenery will change quite dramatically from the rough terrain of the Eastern Montana prairie to the mountainous splendor of Lewistown and Denton. I’m so excited for the girls to see how beautiful the wheat fields and mountains are near Denton…and Square Butte.
The day was a long one! Tomorrow will be another long day with the sun setting in a new town.
Here’s a little snippet of what we have to look forward to:
Time to hit the road again!
A few farmers in Montana are even trying to get a little piece of the corn pie…who would have thought!
A nice view through a dirty windshield
We ate lunch today at the local Denton cafe. Best food EVER! And, it literally feels like you’re having your meal in someone’s kitchen. THE BEST!
The town of Lewistown sits in the valley between a couple of mountain ranges.
